Adding Another Passenger to a Booking

If clients bring an additional passenger with them on a trip, the passenger should be added to the trip booking.

Before you begin

Trip Booking must be open.

Procedure

  1. Select a client and create a trip.
    At minimum, a Date, Client, Req time, Origin, and Destination should be defined.
  2. In the Leg Detail frame, in the first available row marked by an asterisk (*), click the first Pass field, and then click a Passenger type in the list.
    Passenger types might include Client, Escort, or Caged animal. They are defined in ancillary data by a system administrator.
    To delete a passenger, highlight the row with the additional passenger type and press the Delete key.
  3. In the Space field, select the passenger’s space type. For example, ambulatory, wheelchair or scooter.
  4. In the PU field (for Origin) or DO (for Destination) type the number of passengers to be added.
  5. Click the Fare field and in the list, click the fare type for this trip.
  6. Click the dollar sign ($) button to calculate the fare.
    When the Show Fare Summary on Save property (found in File > Properties, on the Booking Screen tab) is set to Yes, the Fare Summary dialog box appears and fare is calculated automatically when you save a booking.

  7. Click OK to continue.
  8. Continue adding information about the trip as needed.
  9. Do one of the following:

    Save the booking for batch scheduling laterClick the Save button:
    Diskette.
    Schedule the booking immediatelyClick the Schedule button:
    Three times: 1:07, 1:10, and 1:40.
