Selecting a Client for a Booking
Bookings are created for clients who need to get from an origin (starting point) to a destination (ending point).
Before you begin
Procedure

In the Client field, type one of the following:
- A forward slash (/) followed by the client ID number. For example, /201.
- Surname or partial surname. The system generates a list of all possible matches. In this list, double-click the appropriate client.Note: This functionality is only available if you have Trapeze4 on your main computer screen. If the application is used on a secondary computer screen, the first option in the list is selected automatically or no options are suggested.
- A minus sign (-) followed by the client’s Medicaid number (for example,
-3126586479532).
This is functional only when a Medicaid number has been recorded for the client in the client record.
- Click the ellipsis button (…) to use the Find Clients dialog box.
- Optional:
To view a picture of a client, click the camera button beside the client name.

To close the picture, click it or press Esc.
What to do next
If your site has the Enforce Default PassType property enabled (found in , on the Booking Screen tab), trips must have at least one default passenger type in order for a booking to be saved. Otherwise, a warning message appears.
