Issuing Case Letters

Letters that have been printed and sent to clients should be marked as issued in the system.

Before you begin

The case letter to be sent must be attached to the case. Open the Service Infractions module to the Cases tab. The case must be in the Compose phase.

About this task

Compose phases are used for warnings, violation alerts, and appeals. When a letter is issued, it is moved to the Delivered phase in the service infraction cycle.

Procedure

  1. Select the case card for the case where the letter has been printed and sent.
  2. In one of the panes, click the Menu button:
    Cog wheel.
  3. Do one of the following:
    ToDo this
    Mark the letter for the selected phase as issued Click Letter Issued:
    Piece of paper with a swoop arrow above the words Letter Issued.
    Mark all letters in the selected phase as issued Click the Letter Issued arrow (Downward-facing arrowhead.), then click All In Phase.
    A Confirm Move message appears.
  4. Click OK.
