Viewing and Composing Case Letters

Automatically generated client case letters can be viewed and edited during the Compose phase.

Before you begin

Open the Service Infractions module to the Cases tab.

About this task

Template letters are attached to policies by a system administrator. These are used to automatically generate case-specific letters, which can also be modified by system users before they are mailed to clients.

Procedure

  1. Select the case card that contains the letters to be viewed.
  2. In one of the panes, click the Menu button:
    Cog wheel.
  3. Click Case Letters.
    Case letters appear in the selected pane.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click the letter link in the Case Letters widget.
    • Click Download.
    You can also download case letters for all clients in a selected Compose phase by clicking the arrow next to Download and then clicking All in Phase.
  5. Navigate to the downloaded letter.
    The downloaded file may be accessible in your web browser, or you may need to look in the hard drive. Typically, downloaded files are found in the Downloads folder.
  6. Double-click on the letter to open it in Microsoft Word.

Results

The letter can be viewed and edited.

What to do next

After editing, print the letter, and save it to the folder designated for storing issued letters.
