Slack
The slack time of a vehicle. Slack can be defined in the following scenarios:
- The extra amount of time in a schedule for a vehicle to get to a stop, normally occurring without passengers but not necessarily so. For example, Vehicle 12 is due to arrive at point B from point A in 15 minutes, but the trip only takes 5 minutes, therefore resulting in 10 minutes of slack time.
- The extra amount of time allowed to an operator to travel between nodes that does not violate transit site policy or the union agreement.
