Setting a Vehicle Status

Vehicle status shows a vehicle that is active or inactive, and provides the reason for their availability or lack of availability (for example, a two-day maintenance period).

Before you begin

The Vehicle page must be open.

Procedure

  1. To find a vehicle, enter information in the following fields:
  2. Optional: To narrow search results, click the Four horizontal lines Advanced Search icon.
    The Advanced Search parameters expands.
    Advance Search parameters are shown with a red rectangle that surrounds the parameters.
  3. Optional: Enter the vehicle information in the following parameters:
  4. Click Apply.
    The vehicle displays in the grid.
  5. Double-click the vehicle in the search results.
  6. In the vehicle profile, scroll down to the Status section to view vehicle's status.
  7. To set a status, click +Set Status.
    The Set Status pop-up window opens.

  8. Select a status type from the Status Type drop-down list.
  9. Enter or select a date in the From Date box.
  10. Enter or select a date in the To Date box.
  11. In the Note text box, enter additional information.
  12. Click Submit.
