| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Capacity Type | Identification number. |
| Description | Description of the capacity type. For example, lift van. |
| Comments | Amount of time required to load a passenger with this space type. For example, if a passenger in oversized wheelchair requires 4 minutes and 30 seconds to load, type 4:30. |
| Generic Seats | Number of seats that the capacity type can hold. Note: Because mobility aids might
be set up in ways that affect capacity, the Generic Seats feature is designed for
use when a complex combination of seating capacity variations exists. The feature is
an alternative method of checking if a vehicle can accommodate the space types and
mobility aids assigned to it. The other method is through the capacity variation
(Var.) field on the Capacities tab in the Vehicle screen. (A capacity variation
refers to a combination of capacity types that can a vehicle can
accommodate.) After setting the generic seats in Space Types and Mobility Aids dialog boxes, the system adds the generic seats of a capacity variation and compares it to the generic seats of the capacity type. |
| LIFO Minimum | Minimum number of passengers to be on board before LIFO (last in, first out) logic is applied. |
