Location Types

Location types group previously geocoded common locations into specific categories. For example, bus terminals or shopping malls.

When searching for a common location, using the location type narrows the search. Location type data can be gathered from reports, and solutions can be implemented based on the provided information.

Sites that must isolate service to or from a specific location type may also find location type useful. For example, if weather compromises your service, sites can opt to shut down all services except medical trips.
