Schedule Rule Types

Schedule Rule Type ancillary data holds general descriptions of possible schedule rules. These include travel exclusion rules.

A travel exclusion rule (also known as a scheduling exclusion) is a rule that defines incompatible scheduling assignments, such as two riders or a rider and a driver who should not be scheduled together. For example, Schedule Rule Type ancillary data could include an Incompatible Clients rule type.

Note: After creating rule types in Schedule Rule Type ancillary data, you can create associated rules in Travel Exclusion Rules ancillary data.

To add ancillary data, click File > Ancillary Data > Para > Service > Schedule Rule Types.

Field Description
Id Unique identification number for the schedule rule type. If you leave the value to zero (0), the system automatically generates a number for the schedule rule type.
Description Description of the schedule rule type.
