About Funding Sources
A funding source is an agency that pays for all or part of a client’s trip. The Funding Sources ancillary data dialog box allows you to define the funding sources for client trips.
If a funding source is no longer used, mark it as inactive so that it cannot be selected in the Funding Source fields for new bookings created in Trip Booking. For existing bookings and client records associated with the inactive funding source:
- The funding source is labeled Inactive in the booking. If the booking is edited, it cannot be saved until the inactive funding source is removed or changed to an active one.
- The inactive funding source selected in the client record in the Funding Sources tab is unavailable. You can delete the funding source from the client record but you cannot edit it.
