Deleting Garages

Only delete garages if the transit site no longer uses them.

Before you begin

Before you delete a garage, confirm that:
  • All runs that pull in to it or pull out of it to another garage have been reassigned.
  • All vehicles previously assigned to the garage have been reassigned.
  • The garage you want to delete is only used for paratransit service.

    It is not uncommon for a site to use either FLEX Route or Fixed Route products in addition to PASS and for these systems to share a garage. Deleting a garage from the demand response database has adverse effects on other systems using the same garages.

Garages must be open.

About this task

Garages should only be deleted if all other options have been considered. Trapeze recommends using the InActive option when possible.

Procedure

  1. Search for and select the garage to be deleted.
  2. Click the Delete button:
    A stylistic X.
    A warning message appears.
  3. Click Yes.

Results

The garage is removed from the database.
