Opening Insert Tracker Action Log

The Insert Tracker Action Log feature allows you to append a comment relating to a selected event.

About this task

Comments can be selected from a list of predefined comments or manually entered. Once you enter and save or select a comment, the date and time of the action as well as your login name and user domain are recorded. Users cannot view these items from the Tracker Action Insert dialog box; they must use the Tracker Action Browse command to view the complete tracker record.

This feature is accessed from Trip Administration, Schedule Editor, Dispatch, Location Programs, Dispatch Manager, and Dispatch Center. In Schedule Editor, make sure you are viewing trips.

Procedure

  1. Open Trip Administration (click Task > Trip Administration) or Schedule Editor (click Tools > Schedule Editor). If using Schedule Editor, click the View tab.
  2. Highlight a client event.
  3. Click the Insert Tracker Action button:
    Pencil in hand writing in a book.

Results

The Insert Tracker Action Log dialog box appears.
