Viewing Infractions on the Map

A better understanding of infraction incident locations can be gathered by viewing them on the map.

Before you begin

Open the Service Infractions module to the Cases tab.

About this task

AVL (Automated Vehicle Location) data can be viewed on the map. This provides information about the physical location of vehicles when case infractions occurred.

Procedure

  1. In the policy tree, click the policy name, the policy stage, and then the policy phase that contains the infractions to be viewed on the map.
  2. Select a case card.
  3. In the Infractions widget, for the infraction to investigate further, click the Show AVL Map button:
Piece of paper and a location marker.
The pane size is increased and only the selected infraction is viewable.
  4. To see when the vehicle was at a specific location, drag the vehicle icon along the route timeline.
Timeline from 09:20:00 to 10:04:00 with markers for A (Arrived), P (Performed), and a bus (location of the vehicle).
A marks the Arrive time (when the vehicle arrived at the location).
P marks the Perform time (when the driver performed the event; for example, a client pick-up).
  5. To toggle Google street routing on or off, click the Toggle Street Routing button:
