Commands for Behavioral Cases

Service Infractions allows you to perform actions using the command ribbon.

The Cases ribbon contains a number of groups: Assignment, Transition, Letters, Comments, and Infractions. Each group contains commands that you can use when working with cases.

For each group, the availability of a command is dependent on the phase a case is currently in. For example, you can use the Reinvestigate command after a case has been promoted from the Investigation phase to the Compose phase, and you can use the Appeal command if the case is in the Violation Alert – Delivered phase. Letters commands are available during the Compose phase for every stage.

You can apply a command to a specific case or to all cases. For a specific case, select the case and click the available command. For all cases click the drop-down arrow next to a command. and then select All in Phase or All in Phase Unassigned Cases.

With behavorial policies, there is a Cases and Infractions group. Depending on your system set up, you may also be able to access some of these commands using a right-click menu. Unlike other polices, behavioral polices allow you to create behavioral cases and infractions within the Cases screen. It has a set of additional commands in the Cases ribbon.

The table below describes the list of commands and the groups they belong to:
