Creating Client Behavioral Cases

Behavioral cases must be manually created before infractions can be added.

Before you begin

A policy of the type Behavioral must be set up and active on the system.

About this task

Behavioral infractions are entered manually into the system. Before infractions can be assigned to clients, a case must be created for the client.

Behavioral cases can only be deleted if they are in the Initial stage.

Procedure

  1. On the Cases tab, select the policy to be used.
  2. On the ribbon, in the Cases group, click Create.
  3. Type the Client Name or Client ID number.
    The creation date is automatically populated with the current date.
  4. Type a Description.
  5. Click OK.
    A confirmation message appears.
  6. Click OK.

Results

The case enters the Initial stage.
