About Trip Cancellation and Resumption

Trips can be canceled when work can't be completed, or resumed if they were canceled in error.

You may need to cancel trips in a piece of work (for example, if an operator becomes ill and no one is available to finish the assigned run) from the Daily Activity screen. You can also resume trips that have been canceled within a piece of work.

If canceled runs are shown in the Daily Activity screen, they appear in red text with a strike-out line in the work list view, and the reason for each cancellation appears in the Cancel Service Reason column. Operators can't be assigned to canceled work, times can't be edited for canceled work, and canceled work can't be split or unsplit.

Service can also be canceled and resumed using the Dispatch Log screen.
