Entering and Geocoding Employee Addresses

Employee addresses can be entered and then geocoded using the Address Matcher.

You must have the OPS > Employee Profile > Address > Use Address Table property enabled to see the Employee Profile - Address screen. If Trapeze OPS is integrated with Trapeze PASS, the system automatically provides address updates to the schedule server.

The OPS > Map > Address Matcher Tool and OPS > Map > Map Viewer properties must be defined for geocoding. Other associated properties may also need to be defined. If you are unable to geocode, contact your Trapeze representative for more information.

In the Employee Profile - Address screen, you can add different addresses for employees at different time periods. For example, if an employee is moving (or relocating temporarily while having renovations done) you can save the current and new addresses with effective dates for each.
  1. Open the Employee Profile screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. Select the employee for whom to add an address.
  3. Select Address.
  4. In the right pane, right-click and select Add New Record.
  5. Enter the date range the address is active in the From Date and To Date fields.
    The To Date field can be left blank.
  6. In the Location field, enter the address information.
    Include as much information as you can to avoid ambiguity. Many street names are common, so include the city name.
  7. Select Search.
  8. If the system finds multiple matches, select the correct location and select OK.
    If the location you are looking for isn't there, select Cancel and enter the address location again with more detail such as city and state names.
