About Leave Certifications
Medical leave certifications can be added in the Employee Profile screen and then applied in the Absences screen.
Leave certifications offer employees job-protected unpaid leave for certified medical and family reasons.
The available leave certifications and leave balances depend on the following properties:
If the available leave certifications are updated, the Service Shell must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
Each certification type also has multiple properties determining exactly how the system handles that leave type. These are defined by a system administrator or your Trapeze representative.
Note: Menu names are shown based on the selected Enable
properties. If multiple certifications are used, they're called Leave
Balance and Leave Certifications. Otherwise, the
selected certification type is used. For example, FMLA Balance and
FMLA Certifications, or FCL Balance and
FCL Certifications.
