About Unqualified Employee Work

Employees can't be assigned to work unless they have the required skill sets to complete that work.

If a dispatcher tries to assign an unqualified employee to a piece of work and the skill set is mandatory, the employee can't be assigned. If the skill set is optional, the system gives a warning. You can see and change the requirements required with pieces of work and the skills associated with employees in the Daily Activity screen.

If you assign an operator who isn't a volunteer to a piece of work, you can create a volunteer record at the same time.

OPS Skill Types and OPS Skill Requirements ancillary data determines if a skill is mandatory and whether it can expire.
