About Suggesting Employees for Unassigned Work

Trapeze OPS can suggest eligible employees for currently unassigned work.

The OPS > Dispatch > Suggest Employee > Employees To Consider property and the Daily Employee List screen determine the sequence employees appear in. If you set the property to one of the Extraboard, Volunteers settings, then eligible extraboard operators are offered the work first, followed by volunteers. You must offer the work to employees in the order in which they're presented in the Employee Suggestions dialog.

You have the option of contacting employees by various methods. When OPS is integrated with Trapeze Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), you can offer work assignments to operators currently on vehicles by sending text messages. Operators see these messages on in-vehicle Driver Command Consoles (DCCs).

Note: Operators must be logged on for scheduled work on the correct vehicle to receive employee messages.

Operators can accept or decline work assignments.

If the OPS > Dispatch > Suggest Employee > Suggest For Next Work property is enabled, after an employee accepts the work you can move to the next listed work without closing the Employee Suggestions dialog.
