OPS Shift Definition

OPS Shift Definition ancillary data defines shift pay rates and factors. The Shift field is mandatory and requires a unique value for each record.

The order in which pay rates and factors are applied is defined by the OPS > Shift > Apply Shift Premium Before Pay Code Factor system property. If this system property is selected, the shift premium is added to the base rate before the pay is multiplied by the pay code factor. If cleared, the shift premium is added to the pay amount after the base rate is multiplied by the pay code factor.
