Absence Alert Types

Absence Alert Types ancillary data specifies when the system generates absence alerts.

The system can create alerts and employee messages about an employee having a specified number of absences during a specified period of time. For example, alerts can be generated for employees with five late absences in the preceding month when days are activated or when absences are created.

Absence alerts are seen in the day activation log and in the Daily Activity screen. When the Alert Trigger value is Absence Creation, absence alerts can also appear when you create absences in the Employee Profile, Daily Activity, Absence Requests, and Work Planner screens.
