OPS Zone Mapping

OPS Zone Mapping ancillary data defines zones that should be linked to specific zone pay codes.

If pay codes vary for platform time and overtime for different areas serviced by a transit agency, zones can be defined to make sure that pay codes are used correctly when calculating timekeeping.

To use this feature, the following properties must be defined:
  • OPS > Timekeeping > Cost by Segment. Use Zone.
  • OPS > Work > Fixed Route > Zone Field in Nodes Tables. This is the zone field defined in the Nodes table.
  • OPS > Work > Fixed Route > Remove Trips and Block Zone Segment After Import. If selected, to reduce data storage, the system removes trips and block zone segment information after import. Trips and block zone segment information becomes intermediate data and can be used for tracing.
After running Schedule Import, update OPS Zone Mapping information for each available zone.

Field Description
Audit Time, date, and user who updated the zone information.
Pay Code Pay code associated with the pay rate.
Zone Id Zone name associated with the field defined in OPS > Work > Fixed Route > Zone Field in Nodes Tables.
Zone Pay Code Pay code associated with the zone.
