Parking Layouts

Parking Layouts ancillary data defines names and daily time periods for which parking layouts are valid.

In the OPS Vehicle Assignment screen, blocks appear dimmed for invalid times. Vehicles can't be assigned to a run that appears in gray. Color coding is based on your computer’s local time settings. For example, if your local time is in the morning, runs starting in the afternoon appear in gray.

In Trapeze OPS, Auto Assign Vehicle matches block requirements with vehicle qualifications and assigns suitably matched pairs. The system continues to create assignments based on the pull-out sequence (if a pull-out sequence is defined in the parking grid), bus type, and vehicle availability until it runs out of vehicles or blocks to assign.

Note: If you select the OPS > Yard Management > Auto Assignment > Assign Tripped Vehicles property, vehicles with the Tripped status can be assigned during the process.
