Creating Ancillary Groups

Ancillary groups are logical groupings of ancillary data that help simplify defining and editing that data elsewhere in the system.

  1. Select Ancillary > Ancillary Groups.
  2. Open the Context (F3).
  3. On the Select Ancillary Group tab, select a group type.

  4. Select OK.
    Matching ancillary groups appear.

  5. In the left pane:
    1. In Group, enter a short name to identify the ancillary group.
      Be as unique as possible with your naming convention. For example, start Extra Pay Reasons groups with EP-
    2. In Name, enter a longer name describing the ancillary group.
    3. Select the row with the asterisk to save the new record.
  6. Select the record with which to associate specific ancillary data options.
  7. In the right pane, select Active for the records to include in the ancillary group.
  8. Select Save.
